Higher highs, higher lows

An uptrend is just a price that keeps making higher peaks AND higher dips. A downtrend is lower highs and lower lows. If neither is happening — it's ranging (sideways). 90% of chart reading is honestly answering: 'Which of these three is happening right now?'
