Trading in one sentence

Trading is buying something at one price and (hopefully) selling it later at a different price. That 'something' can be a stock (a tiny slice of a company), a currency (US dollars for euros), a commodity (gold, oil), or a crypto coin. The goal isn't magic — it's to end up with more money than you started with, ideally without losing your mind in the process.
